For Greener Thumbs Tips

For Greener Thumbs, Tip #2:

Cats digging into your pots indoor? Well I came home to find my cat decided to make a pee potty out of my poor plant. I quickly diluted with water until it drained out the bottom. Remember to drain the saucer so your pot isn’t sitting in water.

Then, to avoid the cat digging into it again, use an old shirt, cloth, netting, or similar to wrap around the top of the pot.  Having netting or a hole allows you to water it without taking it off.  At the same time, it blocks the access to the dirt from the cat.

This elephant ear is indoor for the winter.  When the weathher starts warming up, I’ll put it outside.

No, that’s not the guilty cat.  He’s sleeping!

Happy gardening!
